is home to 3-time USA Senior National Champion Lisa Wang, 3-time USA Junior National Champion Marlee Shape, the USA Group National Team and many other past National Team and World Championship team members.  North Shore Rhythmics opened in March of 2006, fulfilling the lifelong dream of the directors of establishing a prestigious rhythmic gymnastics training facility from the beginner to Elite level. Directors Natalie Klimouk and Dani Takova purchased an existing club operating in the Glenview Park District. Under these experienced and talented coaches, the program excelled, attracting gymnasts from other local clubs, as well as athletes from across the country. At the 2006 USA Gymnastics National Championships, only 6 months after opening its doors, NSR became the home of the Junior and Senior National champions, the USA Gymnastics Athlete of the Year, the USA Gymnastics Sportsperson of the Year, 7 USA National Team members and Coaches of the Year. North Shore Rhythmics directors aspire to have each and every gymnast achieve her full potential as an athlete, whether she becomes National Champion, a member of Group Team, or competing on any level throughout her career. They hope to pass on their love and passion for the sport of rhythmic gymnastics to a new generation of girls and young women.
