North Shore Rhythmic gymnasts won medals -- and met Minnie Mouse -- during the Junior Olympic Championships and the U.S. Rhythmic Classic at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando on June 8-12. Minnie helped pass out many of the awards and also posed for pictures. In fact, she was enjoying herself so much that she did not want to leave when her Disney helper indicated it was time to go. In the U.S. Rhythmic Classic, an international competition with gymnasts from countries such as Spain, Venezuela, and Argentina, North Shore Rhythmics' Shelby Kisiel and Jazzy Kerber won the senior and junior all-around titles and its U.S. senior national group won two silver medals.
